Blade of the Immortal: Legend of the Sword Demon from Dark Horse

█ Michael Gombos, Director of Asian Licensing at Dark Horse, announced that Dark Horse will have two new additions for the Blade of the Immortal manga books lineup.

On Christmas 2009, the normal regular tankobon will be accompanied by a new original novel, written by Junichi Ohsako. The novel will contain 6 new original illustration drawn by Hiroaki Samura and it will be  named Blade of the Immortal: Legend of the Sword Demon.

And, in June 2010, Dark Horse will bring you a sensational The Art of Blade of the Immortal art book volume, in a hardcover edition. The book will contain over 120 illustrations, some specially made for the Dark Horse edition.

“Rendered immortal by an infusion of mystical worms that can repair any wound, the masterless samurai Manji wanders the hillsides of feudal Japan, his quest to slay one thousand evil people to atone for his past sins. By his side is the young woman Rin, an orphan who seeks vengeance for the murders of her parents.
