This type of anime usually involves lots of battle scenes with all kinds of vehicles, weapons and fighting styles. The dynamic battle scenes are what this genre of anime concentrates on. It can be said that Adventure and Action genres can sometimes be very alike.

It is one of the most popular types of anime and manga, being targeted at young male audience/teens, who make up a large part of the anime/manga fans. Its also called the male version of Shoujo. It involves a lot of fighting and action scenes, mostly involving male heroes.
