Customize your Windows in anime style
Although I am an anime fan, I prefer not to ruin my walls and bed with questionable posters and sheets and pillows with young and barely teen girls showing their flatness. Or you may read it like this: IF I would do that, I would ruin my walls and bed with Gundams, Guts, Kenshiro, Blood+ and other violent stuff that look even better. But I wont so I’m limited at customizing my browser, windows look, desktop wallpaper and such.
I cannot customize my Windows 7 look now, because I am afraid to apply that theme patch needed for the skin transformation. I am using an Evaluation copy and I will treat it so. With care (still, its freaking fast).
Note that the following I got the following result by searching the keyword ‘’anime’’ for each of the plugin database of each application. If you are searching for a specific anime plugin, you have to do a more explicit search.
For Firefox, the anime customization includes a series of plugins, from which I can mention:
‘’Search for Anime torrents, info, reviews, art and more. Listen to the best anime podcasts and radio, and stay up-to-date through RSS feeds.’’ I have my doubts about this one but the list of anime plugins for Firefox is small so I will mention this one as well
A shoutbox for animedb so you can chat with people without going to the animedb forum. This one is really interesting if you part of the animedb community.

Probably the best anime plugin for Firefox. You can search through all the ANN anime database and such. Easy access to information is a must in our days, when everyone is short on their time.
Please take not that not all these plugins may work with your version of Firefox.
For Google Chrome, I found a series of anime skins.
Winamp is a big boy and It cannot be skipped from this list.
If you go the the Animated category of the Winamp skins you will find a large amount of anime based themes for this player. I can mention Integra Hellsing, RahXephon, Final Fantasy, Bleach, Ayanami, FMA, Cowboy Bebop and much more.
Also, at 1001skins.com you can find more anime skins for Winamp. Just go at the Anime section.
To decorate your desktop with anime wallpapers, I can mention some sites that I found interesting (although I wish more anime wallpapers were in 1680×1050 resolution, which I am using).
A Google search on anime wallpapers will reveal a huge number of sites from you can choose.
In more general terms, you can find customization in anime style on sites like deviantART.com, customize.org and such.
