logo_head_img█ Which literally means Werewolfs (in French Loup garou means werewolf). It is a new anime movie, based on the novel Loups=Garous Kihisubeki Okami by Kyougoku Natsuhiko, which will premiere in 2010. A manga adaptation also exists, and it is published since 2006 in Monthly Comic Ryu.

The official webpage for this anime can be found at lg-anime.com. The movie will be produced under the banner of Bandai Visual ,with Production I.G and Trans Arts involved in the animation. It will be directed by Fujisaku Jun-ichi (Blood+ YEY!), and scripts by Midori Gotou (Blood+, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle The Movie) and Sayaka Harada.

Werewolves. The story happens in a near future, were a deadly made the world plunge in panic. With the earth population plummeting, people avoid contact with each other, communicating only through monitors. Real contact is very rare. Children are only allowed to communicate in schools called Community Centers. Soon, a series of murders occur, all targeting school kids. The latest victim of the killer has been in contact with three girls, which soon are caught in an mysterious investigation of the murders and of the monitor system.

This is a combined description using the bad translated (by Google) Japanese website and the description provided by AnimeNewsNetwork. Based on the story and on the director and writers, its going to be a horror movie. I’m starting to be really interested in this one.
