█ At the San Diego Comic-Con from this year, Madhouse will give more details about their collaboration with Marvel Comics on a four anime series that will focus on Marvel super-heroes, with Iron Man and Wolverine being the first announced, in a 12 episode anime series. It appears that Marvel wants to promote their super-heroes in Japan in a way that’s more familiar for the Japanese audience. The debut for this “super-heroes in anime style” series will be next year, on Animax.

I think Madhouse is cool but I highly prefer marvel comics animation to be done in western style animation (like it usually is), not in anime form. It’s just . . .weird x_x

My mistake. Since it will begin on 23 July… yeah ^^ Fixed. They will just confirm the fact at Comic-Con. Thank you for pointing that out.

i have to agree with Pyro here… when people try to adapt different things where they don’t belong then it’s sure to suck…

plus why change the Marvel super-heroes in a more anime fashion? what’s wrong with the current versions? when they adapted Dragon Ball (or other anime) the Americans didn’t change them into a more western style, so why do the other way? it’s ridiculos, it’s like Marvel has nothing better to do, or doesn’t have enough fans or something…

personally i think it’s a bad idea (but i’ll still review them)

don’t know about that..i think this will be a great idea..imagine the success marvel already has..and combine it with awesome madhouse productions…i’m smelling awesomesauce all the way

They are trying to open the Japanese market for them ;) So they are going in the only viable way they see. Anime style. No one can predict the results, as the Japanese audience is by far an excentric one. But, good luck Marvel.
P.s: Nice to see some comments :) Be sure to come back.
