My trip in Brazil (part I)

2 December 2009 by Andrei 6 Comments

There is so much to say about this vacation and I’m feeling so sick that ill be back with a bigger article about it. We stayed 3 extraordinaire weeks in Vitoria, capital of Espirito Santo (city/state), in the house of my wife’s parents. It was great, so great that I want to move and live there with my wife.

Brazil has happy people? Yes it has. Is not a legend, even the  poorest people in there are happy and they just live their lives at full. Brazil has friendly people? Oh, yes. You wont believe the amount of friendliness that is emanating from all the Brazilians. And the general atmosphere there is so relaxing that you will feel the difference after two days of living there.

Also, all the newspaper stands in there have a great quantity of comics books (Dc and Marvel) and manga.

And the food, oh my god. I’m skinny, but there I was eating from 3 to 3 hours. I couldn’t get enough. I gained 2 kg while there, which is a lot for me. Rice and beans, pao de queijo (translated it means bread with cheese but this translation doesn’t do any justice to the actual dish), kibe (some kind of meatball), Brazilian pizza (you know that margin of the pizza that is just empty and sad? There its filled with cedar cheese, and its delicious!), lemon tart (extraordinaire during a hot day!), and other countless dishes.

Brazilian TV was also a huge surprise. Almost 200 channels, from Warner to Sony and countless sport programs. A huge diversity.

And let me say I barely touched the computer in 3 weeks. Felt no urge and need to do it. I forgot about games, my site and everything. To much to do in there. No wonder all the Brazilians are so outgoing and active socially.

IT is a happy gorgeous country, Brazil. I hope I will move there someday. It would be the second greatest realization of my life. The first is my lovely wife <3

Ill leave you now with some photos I took there. Click on them to get the bigger photo. Do you feel the heat, Glo? :D

Well…if you like exactly what you wrote in your post ,i think it’s a good place to live(i live in Rio de Janeiro~Copacabana)but actually a wish a could live in another place especialy if is in a cold one(beaches isn’t the same thing after many years living right beside them >_>) and seariosly here is one of the worst places to buy eletronics etc, there are many taxes etc and if you want to buy something from ebay, amazom etc is another headache.

U are right too, but after 32 years living in a predominant cold country, I want my next 32 in a warm one. Haha, I know the electronics problem, its weird, but I can get past it. I dont need too much technology in my life. Computer, TV, photo camera, mp4 player…errr…well, OK!

I stopped reading this halfway through and made myself some rice and beans.

Then I looked at the pictures and concluded:

I miss Brazil, and I didn’t even go on vacation there. It looks SOOOO NICE THERE! That beach? Shittttt.

    I felt the heat.
