New Ghibli anime will be announced on December 16th
█ Toshio Suzuki, producer for many Ghibli movies, announced on the Ghibli Asamamire radio program that the studio will make public their next project on December 16th. That’s next week! This new movie will have a new director, so its not a Miyazaki movie, sorry :( But the master is not resting and he is reportedly working on a TV commercial. And to add to the fun, let me remind you that Isao Takahata is working on the The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter and Goro Miyazaki is on another project as well. So, next week, Wednesday if I am not wrong, we will know the name of the next Ghibli movie. Keep that champagne at bay until then. I might have some cognac around myself.
