In an interview on the radio show Ghibli Asemamire, Studio Ghibli producer Suzuki Toshio told the audience that Hayao Miyazaki is working on a 10 minutes short film, although he was very cheap on details. But it appears that the movie will be used in close relation with the internet and maybe a release on Youtube. It is a new move from Studio Ghibli to find other ways of distributing their films in the future. Nothing was mentioned about the date of the release. Until new details will surface, I invite you to delight yourself with a 2001 Hayao Miyazaki interview. Its old, but great. And you will find out a bunch of details about how the master makes his films. LINK

UPDATE: The film has no dialogue, and is specially made for the Ghibli Museum. Hayao Miyazaki is working himself on the key animations drawings, as the majority of the other animators are assigned to the production of Karigurashi no Arrietty (The Borrower Arrietty).
