█ Evangelion update
As Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance was released in the Japanese theaters on June 27 (thats Saturday), we also found out that the third Evangelion movie is going to be called Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Q quickening. For those who know Japanese this title may mean something, but the rest of us will keep waiting for the English title.
█ Hayao Miyazaki at Comic-Con
The famous director Hayao Miyazaki will make an appearance at the Comic-Con from San Diego, this July. This is Miyazaki’s first appearance in USA, so lots of people may be interested to know the man and the legend. It is rumored that he will talk about Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea, being accompanied by clips from the movie. He will also visit Berkeley, to receive a prize. The prize is called Berkeley Japan Prize o.O There will be also projections of some Miyazaki movies there, including Porco Rosso and Princess Mononoke, but also the premiere in Northern California for Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea.
