Some great news for those of you who loved Dragon Age, the latest fantasy RPG from Bioware. They will make an anime from it! Japanese production company T.O. Entertainment took the handles of this affair and is announcing that the anime adaptation of Dragon Age will be directed by Fumihiko Sori (Vexille). The animation will be taken over by Oxybot, the same people who made Vexille (I don’t if this is great news, I found Vexille sterile and boring) and the anime will be distributed internationally by…

Well, what better way to re-launch this site than with a couple of trailers for the newest Studio Ghibli film, The Borrower Arrietty, in Japanese Karigurashi no Arrietty. And briefly for those who aren’t informed, The Borrower Arrietty is an adaptation after Mary Norton’s fantasy novel The Borrowers. Hayao Miyazaki wrote the scrip himself, and Hiromasa Yonebayashi directed it. Let me mention that Hiromasa Yonebayashi is the first homegrown Ghibli director and I bet we will see more from him in the years to…

A number of reasons made me to abandon updating this site everyday. And although I can blame moving in a new apartment and vacations, I have my share of guilt as well. All I can promise is that in August, the site will be back at normal, with posts on each day. Thank you!

Warner Bros Animation announced that they will produce a new Thundercats animated series, but with a powerful anime flavor to it. The ”anime” will be handled by Studio 4°C and it will be based (as obvious) on the 1980′s animated series and most likely be aired on Cartoon Network. They say this will be the first anime style animation made by Warner Bros. Err…Animatrix doesn’t count? Or Gotham Knight?

Date or release? Somewhere in 2011. Ok, that’s all, no more…

Iron Sky is an upcoming Finnish science-fiction-comedy film. In it, the Nazis managed to escape from the second World War, and they built a base on the moon, thanks to their advanced technology. And then, after 73 years of preparations, in the year of god 2018, they attack the Earth in their space ships. Prepare for the invasion!

After watching a bunch of trailers and teasers, I got to the conclusion that if this movie gets it right, it could be the next cult movie…

Wow, this one took me completely by surprise. Batman: Under the Red Hood is the next animated film from Warner and damn, its a must see already. Based on the Batman comic books arch story with the same name (by Judd Winick and Doug Mahnke), Batman: Under the Red Hood puts the Dark Knight face to face with one mysterious character, the so called… well, Red Hood. The official synopsis says this:
Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious…

There there. Now we even have a trailer for this movie which is not getting the attention it deserves. Too bad, because the Jonah Hex comic books are awesome. I even plan to buy the DC Comics Jonah Hex archive volume 1. Based on the DC’s Jonah Hex comic books (like I already said) the movie will have Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex, a scared-scary-cold-blooded-fast-handed bounty hunter (there you go). John Malkovich will play the villain Turnbull and Megan Fox (Leila) will be there just to attract some more…
