Backpack straps over two shoulders makes you an Otaku? Well in that case, every single person I've seen with a backpack on since the 90's is an Otaku. No one really uses one strap anymore.

That's probably the only thing on the list that applies to me. I don't own anime anything, nor do I tuck in my shirt, or have chemical wash jeans. I used to have long hair (like a year ago) but I have since cut it, and will not be growing it out again.

I don't get how a belt bag makes one an anime otaku o_O

Haha! I like those defenses. It's true that possessing those stuff don't necessarily mean they're anime fans. Heck, I believe the real otaku don't even wear any or much of those stuff. haha!

But well, those are just the otaku stereotypes I guess. Stereotypes aren't 100% accurate. Some are just too discriminating though =_= Like the glasses . . . that would make a lot of the elderly as otaku since most of them have poor eyesight. Haha!

Well, I don't wear anime T-shirts because I prefer to spend my money on other things. But I have a Mighty Thor T-shirt :D Also, I have a backpack that I use to go to work with. Its green and I use it to carry my mp4 player, cables and other stuff that I randomly use during work time.

Backpacks are made to be slung on 2 shoulders. Though there are kinds that only have 1 belt, it's really tiring on the neck and back to carry those around.

That being said, I can't and absolutely won't stand to wear a shirt that has a character on it, since I hate being stared at. On conventions, perhaps... or if it's a character I really like.
