Marvel vs Capcom 3 in the making

Usually I don’t give a shit about console games, as Im a PC dude. But I know this game, as I’ve seen people playing the second game of the series, some years ago. And it has Marvel in the title. Enough to write a small article about this upcoming title from Capcom.
The full name is Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds and a nice trailer has been just released plus some colorful artwork. They say that this title will have a strong comic book feel to it, to …

Chris Evans to play Captain America

At last, looks like its done. After countless possible and not possible names, now we finally know the name of the actor who will play Captain America in the movie The First Avenger: Captain America.  And that one is Chris Evans, like the title also says. Looks like Marvel put some cash on the table and Chris Evans accepted the deal, after a week of thinking. Is he the best actor to play Cap? Probably not, but I guess Marvel likes him.
Now, I wonder If we can take him seriously, …

Comics for PSP

Well, I totally missed this one, but as comics books started to conquer domain after domain, from movies to digital downloads, I cannot help myself to report this bit of news.

With the Digital Comics service, Sony introduced to PSP something that I am sure it was missing from their portable gaming console. Comic-books. And although I still ponder how you can you have a good reading experience jumping from panel to panel, that is just a runt. Sony developed a program…

The movie, which had the released date set for 6 May 2011, will be premiered almost two weeks earlier, on May 20. Well, one year and something to wait, but we will have Iron Man 2 planned for release this year on May 7. Is something to chew on right? And in 2011 we will have The First Avenger: Captain America followed by The Avengers in 2012. More to chew on!

Thor will be directed by Kenneth Branagh and will star Chris…

Venom movie. Who needs a good bad-guy? Huh…

█ Apparently THEY do, because writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have already finished have the script. Shit! These boys are so hungry for a buck. There is not much info about the movie, but from what I can tell, its going to have both Venom and Carnage in it. So, having Carnage in it means that Venom will be a good guy. This is shit. Is like in 94 when Marvel went nuts and gave all the bad guys their own line of comics, making them good guys. I can remember even now that infamous Venom: Nights of…

█ When I’ve read this crap I coudnt believe it. Well, its so mind blowing that I was on the verge of throwing up. OF disgust. What will happen with all those great Marvel characters? Spiderman will play in High School Musical 4 and… OMG! That’s just me imagining the worst but this is really terrible news. A dark day for the comic book industry and for the freedom of expression too (not sure what I want to say with this but it sounds good). There is a very very …

From now on, I decided to write about comics as well. I read manga, I watch anime, but I read comics too. Probably I read more comics than manga. So why not write about it? I wont change the profile of the site or the name of the site. The anime and manga sections will dominate, but I will include comic book news, reviews, articles and information. It started a while ago with the Comic-Con news. And it will continue. The rapport will be 70% anime/manga articles and 30% comics …

Captain America movie

After receiving hints about a possible Captain America movie in Iron Man, where some intelligent footage revealed Cap’s shield peaking through the snow, now looks like its a done deal. We will have a Captain America movie. The movie is going to be set in the Second World War, in a multitude of locations (I guess mostly Europe and USA). There will be some “international actors” involved (by international actors I think they mean actors outside the USA). Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (Chronicles of…
